so. its spring break, and let me tell you, this week off was seriously needed.
its been a nice relaxing week, and i have been living up to what my kids told me as they exited first period last friday, " now don't go getting too wasted this spring break miss adame."
well, i havent been getting too wasted. ;)
the week before i left, i have to say were some of the times i felt most like a teacher. mind you, i wa observed, and that very same first period class was, dare i say, horrible, and my teacher was there too see that.... but, other than that it was nice.
i don't know how updated i have been keeping the world, however, we were reading "of mice and men" in class.
... can i just say that i cried twice while we were watching the movie.
yes, i know im a sucker for tears. but seriously. so good.
so, we finished the book. it was so good.
the kids were down. they loved it. etc.
so i've got a project planned for next week.
...its just a matter of planning it out.
and interestingly enough those plans are due tomorrow.
i should probably get back to that.
